When you sign up to become an Account holder of one or more of Go2mobile's services, we request contact information and billing address details.

When you use any Go2mobile web service, our web servers use Google Analytics technology to track the usage behaviour. We also use temporary "cookies" which would be stored on your PC. These cookies have a finite lifetime and are typically removed automatically when your Browser is closed.

Your information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not sell or rent the information provided by you to us. We use information stored to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms and Conditions. We may use your registered e-mail address and mobile phone number that you provide to us to communicate with you from time to time regarding administrative notices, account information, updates and upgrades to our Go2mobile service that become available. In addition, we must comply with court orders, information requests from government agencies and regulators and other legal and regulatory processes that may require the disclosure of the information you provided to us.

If Go2mobile or all of Go2moble assets are acquired, we will transfer to the acquirer all information stored for continuity of service and to comply with data retention laws.

Any information entered by the Account holder for text messaging purposes will remain the property of the Account holder, which Go2mobile will hold securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. Go2mobile run multiple daily scheduled backups to secure and retain this data. Go2mobile will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Go2mobile will at no time collect or redistribute this information without your consent, except where legally required to do so by law/court order.

It is your sole responsibility to acquire necessary permission to send messages to your contacts. The Go2mobile service has a block list which allows you to enter one or more contact numbers that do not wish to receive text messages from you in future.

All marketing text messages must by law have an opt out script included as part of the text message such as "no more texts reply Stop". If using a branded Sender Id you need to include a contact phone number and an opt out script in the message such as "no more texts also call"

Due to the public nature of the Internet, all information should be considered publicly accessible, and important or private information should be treated carefully. While Go2mobile take measures to protect your information on our systems, Go2mobile is not liable for protection or privacy of electronic data or other information transferred through the Internet or cellular network.

Go2mobile retain data for at least 6 years to comply with data retention laws.

Your privacy is very important to us, but due to the existing legal and technical environment, we cannot ensure that your information will not be disclosed to third parties in ways not described in this policy. Additionally, we can (and you authorise us to) disclose any information about you to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials, as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to address or resolve inquiries or problems.

If you have any privacy complaints relating to any aspect of our service, please email privacy@mail.go2mobile.com. Please state clearly the nature of the complaint. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days. You will also be assigned a contact name that will be responsible for keeping you informed of the progress of any complaint.

If Go2mobile receive a complaint in relation to text messages containing offensive material, or having been used for bullying, stalking or harassment, Go2mobile reserve the right to terminate the Account holder's account immediately and any unused message credits on the account will be confiscated.

Go2mobile may reserve the right to change this online privacy policy from time to time at its discretion. Changes will be posted online and will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of our services after changes to this online privacy policy have been posted is deemed acceptance of those changes. It is your sole responsibility to monitor the privacy policy to determine whether any such changes have been posted. This privacy policy is subject to and applicable to all privacy laws.
